Does fiber cable 10G compatible with transceivers of 1G?

 Hi.

 I want to know if is possible to install fiber optic single mode 10G and use in my switches transceivers of 1G?

 This will be a new installation but I want to setup my fiber and know that is ready for the future.

 If not I will setup 1GB fiber+transceivers.

What grade of fibre are you installing?

What is the length of the runs?

 My run will be 220 and 180 meters.

 Grade, I will like to have something that will worth the invest.

 Reading it say om3, om3+.

 Does make sense?

300m of OM3 fibre will be fine for both 1Gb SX and 10Gb SR transceivers.
