if 2000 host same vlan in your network normal result you see excessive broadcast log
1-you make create vlans on your network.
2-and check harizonal cable infrastructure
you make this tests
1-next
2-psnex
3-return loss
4-elfex
5-ps elfex
3-you use 2650 procurve switch broadcast limit feature
example:
(config)switch#broadcast-limit 50
this command on switch all port %50 reduce broadcast traffic.
4-check all pc nic update last driver and take off nonstandart nic
good luck
