Re: Ethenet Card Drivers?
Go to:
http://h20180.www2.hp.com/apps/Nav?h_tool=prodhomes&h_lang=en&h_cc=us&h_product=digitalhom70466&h_page=hpcomтМй=en&cc=us&h_client=S-A-R163-1
or do a search on the PCI ethernet device name.
Also, the driver should be on one of the system restore CD's (if the PCI ethernet device came with the presario), have you looked in there?

Re: Ethenet Card Drivers?
Hi Dave
You could also try going to www.driverguide.com , username = driver password = all.
Search for the correct NIC ( ethernet card ) and then download the drivers.
You might have to open the case if you don't know what the name or model number of the NIC card is.
Or you could download a neat little application form Belarc called Belarc advisor. Run this and it will tell you all about the inside of you computer, including the NIC card info. Then go to driversguide.com
Cheers

Re: Ethenet Card Drivers?
Hi Dave
Hope your presario is not same model as mine (6233: just look into http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=238310) as I had to solve my problem (don't laugh, it's quite true!) installing a Realtek ethernet card.
It seems unbelievable but absolutely no one was able to provide me the driver for the built in lan card of the motherboard.
So my suggestion to you is to buy a new card and forget about the inbuilt one.
