Excessive undersized/giant packets

Excessive undersized/giant packets

I have noticed I am getting alot of syslog messages that say 'Excessive undersized/giant packets'.  I have manually set the speed and duplex on both the switch port and the computer that is attached to it.  In the last day it has also started dropping packets.  Any ideas?

What model switch do you have, 2530?

You will see this message if the device connected to the switch port is sending jumbo frames, but jumbo is not enabled on the switch.
