FEC supported on HP Procurve 2524?

Hello,

does the HP Procurve 2524 support Cisco FEC channel link for HP NIC teaming? If so, how are the special configs? I have only see LACP trunk for switch interlink.

HP stopped supporting the use of FEC trunks on the 2512/2524 platform with the F.05.50 firmware. They now only support LACP and static trunks. If you want FEC trunks, you will need to find a copy of the older firmware. However, you will give up a lot of functionality, such as a useable implementation of LLDP.

If you do find the older firmware, you can configure an FEC trunk using the following commnand syntax:

TRUNK FEC
Example:
TRUNK 1-2 TRK1 FEC

only the older image versions. in the newer ones, hp took out all non-standars-based features.
