FabricInterface Error
FabricInterface Error
Hi
on a procurve 4208vl, I suddenly noticed the following errors :
08/20/09 15:51:33 chassis: Lost Communication with Slot F
.....
08/20/09 15:51:44 chassis: Slot F FabricInterface Error: LinkErr=0x3c810f00
...
W 08/20/09 15:52:40 chassis: Slot E NCI Error IntReg=0x4000
....
Slot E Heartbeat Failure.Module no longer
it concern 3 differents modules (C/E/F) and happened more or less during 3 hours
.... before to suddenly disapear without any reason. (today everything seems to be OK)
regarding the errors it seems to be a HW failure. but I dont explain why it recovered
does anyone have any clue regarding this?
PS I noticed too that after these errors there is not any event logged beetween yesterday evening and this morning....
regards
