GBE2c with C7000 enclouser and P4500 SAN

I’m new to all this so please be gentle.
I have c7000 enclosure with 6 blades and 8 GbE2c switches. I’m setting up network for SAN.
This is what I tried so far:
Trunked two switches on ports 17 and 18 and created VLAN for SAN. Storage units – all 6 NIC ports are connected to 2 switches.
This works fine but CMC machine is on main network and as soon NIC’s are bonded I’m getting some drops while pinging. When unbounded interfaces pings fine from outside network.
If pinged within the same VLAN there are no issue…go figure.
I was told today that storage nodes, ESX hosts and CMC console should be on the same VLAN. Host machine NIC’s should have one for VLAN and one for my other network (main one) and CMC console machine should be setup in the same manner.
Can anyone elaborate on this a little? I want to make sure I’m doing the right thing.
Also, what would the best way to connect 2 GbE2c switches to have the same VLAN?
