HP 1910-8G Switch

Having trouble with a new HP 1910-8G switch. My laptop is able to jack in and pick up and IP from the DHCP server, but when I plug in an HP Network Printer (M3027) it doesn't receive an IP from the DHCP server. If I try setting the printer to a staic IP I'm unable to ping the printer either.
