HP 2350 24G Switch
Hi,
What does it mean when all the LED lights on the HP 2350 24G switch are a solid yellow/orange. The Mode is set to ACT. Normally the left LED is solid and the right LED is flashing but sometimes the right LED is on constant not flashing. See picture. Thank you.

Re: HP 2350 24G Switch
Ire_Pat,
The in ACT mode, the left LED shows link status (up/down). This should be constant so long as there is an active device attached to the port in question.
The in ACT mode, the right LED shows "network activity information". If these LEDs are all on for active ports for extended periods of time, then this may be an indication of high switch utilisation, or large amounts of broadcasts or multicasts across the network.
Are you experiencing network performance issues?
Regards,
Peter
