HP 2610 and rate-limiting

Hi all
is possibile to set per-port rate-limiting on 2610 switches?

AFAIK Cisco does it granurally 1mb per 1mb.
Is possibile do the same on HP?

I need to set some ports to 2mbit/s.

Thanks.

Re: HP 2610 and rate-limiting

I'm fairly certain you need to go all the way up to the 3500/5400 for rate-limiting support. The 2610 definitely does not do it.

Re: HP 2610 and rate-limiting

Ok, but more or less any other vendors (also that very cheap like linksys or dlink) does it on lower end switches.

Cisco does it on 500├в ┬м switches and linksys does it on 400├в ┬м switch.

Why HP does it only on switches over 2500├в ┬м ?
May be a next features? It's very interesting...

The 1800 does broadcast/multicast rate limiting only which is different.
