HP 5406zl / Empty MAC addresses in the ARP table.
Hello Community,
We have upgraded our core 5406zl core switch to K.15.06.0017.
When checking the ARP table we can see some empty lines (IP but no mac @) =>
=========================================
sh arp
172.27.1.229 dynamic
172.27.1.251 00306e-c95f43 dynamic Trk1
172.27.2.133 000c29-64d130 dynamic G5
172.27.2.141 dynamic
=========================================
I cannot say if before the upgrade these empty entries were already here.
At this time the two IP addresses are not reachable.
My question is : Is this output normal ? Can we consider these entries as incomplete ?
Many thanks in advance.
Best regards.
