HP 9304 Routing Switch
I just upgraded the software on our 9304 Switch to the secondary flash and it appeared to be working fine. When it was copied to the flash primary is hosed. I now can not boot the switch I get the following:
BOOT INFO: RESET ANY
master arbitrate : become primary arbitrator.
BOOT INFO: Become active CPU module
M2 BI Boot Code Version 07.01.08
Enter 'b' to go to boot monitor ...
BOOT INFO: load from primary copy
I can't get it to boot back from a TFTP server or flash. Any ideas??

Re: HP 9304 Routing Switch
Well, need a little more details. What firmware version did you upgrade to? You may need to upgrade your boot code to the latest rev. The software upgrade instructions are usually pretty good on what is required. Look them over again and see if you have overlooked something. Also, when you say you can't tftp boot, what is the error message and did you assign an ip address to the 9304 thru boot monitor before tftp boot?
Good Luck,
Ed Davis
