HP MSM - local mesh profiles?

Hi all,

I am curious to know what do local mesh profiles do?

I have one MSM313 broadcasting a hotspot which uses 802.1x but unfortunately it doesn't reach all the way out to my office.

I have a MSM310 sitting around. If I use a local mesh would I be able to set up my MSM310 in my office and connect it to the local mesh with the MSM313 as the master?

Does a local mesh extended wireless signal?
