HP NJ2000G 802.3at compatibility with Cisco

Our HP NJ2000G Switch doesnot receive 802.3at Power from cisco (only 802.3af).  We have a TAC Case open but they have suggested to engage HP Support.  We have attempted every command to manually proivde 30mw of power, however it seems that it only works if it negotiates the power.  I came across a 4 year old post that says that these devices were only made to work with HP Power injectors, but is that still true?  Ist here any way to get these to work with Cisco?

Have you tried the using the latest firmware?

There is some mention in the release notes about a change in the POE to make it more compatible with POE Switches...

hi,

As per the below document the NJ2000 was designed to only inter-operate with the H3C Baseline Plus HPWR switch
