HP PCM+ configuration management on 93XX

I've got problems making configuration scan from Procurve Manager+ on a 9308 switch. SNMP rw community is correct, no access list blocking. Error message "Failure: Timeout" in PCM, no errors on the 9308. Any ideas?

Hi,

This could be one of the known issues when the Super User password is different from the Telnet password.

Have you tried setting the Telnet password and the Super user password to be the same?

Thank's for your input. I'm using local username/password with aaa authentication for login. Username set up with super-user privileges (level 0). Should super-user password be enabled when using local username/password?

Sorry about the delay, Mohamed, but I haven't been at the site for a while.

There seems to be a mismatch in SNMP community, but this community is verified OK with the discovery wizard.

The logs show that you have the wrong SNMP settings.
To test your SNMP setting try using the Device Manager to change location or contact name and make sure your changes take effect. This way we can isolate the issue.

The discovery wizard uses the read only, whereas the Config Scan needs to do sets.
