HP ProCurve 2848 update

How can I update my HP J4904a ProCurve Switch 2848 ? I have downloaded the file.swi but I don't kown how to update my switch...

If you have a TFTP server setup, you can use it to transfer the SWI.

Beware that depending on what version you are coming form and going to, it may be a two-step process. Read the PDF that comes with it as it explains the procedure.

To copy using TFTP:
copy tftp flash 10.1.2.3 I_08_55.swi primary

To transfer OS from primary to secondary:
copy flash flash secondary

You can also use XMODEM to transfer through a direct connection to the console port if you do not have TFTP.
