HP ProCurve 2900-48G VLAN Configuration for VMware ESXi 3.5

We have our VMware setup with 3 vswitches which are detailed as follows;

vswitch0 = VMnetwork (Production LAN 192.168.35.x) & Management network (IP 192.168.35.3) this uses vmnic1 and vmnic2 from the server.

vswitch1 = VMkernel (10.0.0.x gives access to our iSCSI for storage) this uses vmnic0 and vmnic4

vswitch 2 = VMotion (10.1.1.x is for Vmotion only) this uses vmnic3 and vmnic5.

We want to move the management IP from vswitch0 to vswitch2. I am told I need to VLAN our HP Switch with tags for this to work. However it needs to keep the same IP address.

Someone on the VMware community told me to do this but I am a little lost; 'In HP terms, what you will need to setup are tagged ports. And add both VLANs to those two interfaces. Once that is done, you'll need to edit your portgroups, and add the appropriate VLAN ID to the portgroup settings.'

Does anyone know how I go about this?

Mark
