Hello, Want to put a description under the ports on my HP Procurve 4000m switch. HP 2524 switches has the name command under the interface, but the 4000m has no command structure. Anyone knows how to set the description/name under the ports of the 4000m switch.

Hi, you can't do friendly port names with the 4000M - http://www.hp.com/rnd/pdfs/SW-Features-Matrix-Jul-2005.pdf
