HP Procurve 4000m ports bouncing up and down

Most of our 2524s, 4000s and 4108s seem to have a similar problem. Here is a sample:

I 04/01/04 13:37:45 ports: port 9 is now off-line
I 04/01/04 13:37:45 ports: port 6 is now on-line
I 04/01/04 13:37:46 ports: port 13 is now off-line
I 04/01/04 13:37:46 ports: port 7 is now on-line
I 04/01/04 13:37:47 ports: port 17 is now off-line
I 04/01/04 13:37:47 ports: port 8 is now on-line
I 04/01/04 13:37:48 ports: port 18 is now off-line
I 04/01/04 13:37:48 ports: port 9 is now on-line
I 04/01/04 13:37:49 ports: port 24 is now off-line

I have upgraded the firmware to the highest possible levels and also stopped LACP interrupts. Does anyone have any ideas? I have to wonder if this constant up/down on the ports is slowing down the works.

Mark,

This isn't actually a problem - the 'I' at the beginning of the line shows that this is an 'informational' message. You'll find that if you turn off a PC connected to the port, it'll go 'off-line' and when it's turned on, it'll go 'on-line'...
