HP Procurve 8000m (J4110A) Password Recovery

Hello,
We are currently using a Procurve 8000m with C.08.22 firmware and I was wondering if anyone could supply documentation for proper password recovery. Does it work like the Cisco routers?
Please help.

If you cannot get logged on to the switch, then you need physical access to the switch. In the upper left part of the switch, next to the DB9 console connector, there are two small holes; one labeled CLEAR and other RESET.

Using a plastic paper clip or something similar (safer to use something non-conductive), gently push the clip in the RESET hole. This should clear the password, allowing you to access via the console port, and via telnet (if the device is accessable online)
