HP Procurve Hub Ip address
Does anybody know the default IP address to this type of hub (HPProCurve 10BT 24M?? I'm bulding a test lab and can't seem to communicate with it.

I guess what you're trying to do is communicate using the web browser interface? The best thing to do here is to connect to it using the console interface (either a VT terminal or hyperterminal on your PC & serial cable), then give it the IP address of your choice.

Is it managed or unmanaged hub? If is managed the you can connect to the serial interface as indicated by GC.

I believe that you're referring to an AdvanceStack, not Procurve? The hub requires a bootp server to assign it an IP address by default. If you do not have a bootp server in your network, the hub will start up with no IP address.

If a problem can be fixed, there's nothing to worry. If a problem can't be fixed, worrying ain't gonna help. Bottom line: don't worry.
