HP Procurve Switch 4000M - Factory IP Adress

Hello,

The company i'm working for has a
"HP Procurve Switch 4000M". We are in the process of wanting to configure it after doing a reset of the switch.

The problem is, we dont have serial cable to connect to the console port of the switch.

So, my question is : what is the default IP adress of the switch after a reset of its configuration ?

After a factory reset, it will get an address via DHCP so you will need to find the lease on your DHCP server. The mac-address of the switch should be on the front somewhere.
