HP Switch and Cisco Router "router on a stick"

Any Caveats to having a cisco router used to trunk/route to multipule vlans on a 2500 series switch?

Check if the router performance enough for you needs.

Logically - no problem !

Technically - a bottleneck !

It is depends on you "router" performance. Some L4 switches can route packets on 1Gbps and more. Home DSL router will route on 2Mbps.

BTW, I have many POS site's that have an HP sw with a cisco 1700 series router. Less than 20 nodes per site.
