HP switches and VLAN routing.
I have 3 big wireless networks, each wireless client can VLAN TAG packets going out. All these vlan tagged packets come in on one CAT5 cable...
My question,
Can a procurve 2626 take 1 port connection that has the 3 different vlan tagged packets and then sort them to 3 different ports?

Re: HP switches and VLAN routing.
Yes the 2626 is VLAN compliant so it will work if tagging is done appropriately.

Re: HP switches and VLAN routing.
Hi
Yes, you can tag the uplink to all these 3 Vlans after you create them on the 2600 switch.
Then you can assign different ports to different Vlans by TAG or UNTAG.
And you can enable IP Routing also if needed.
Good Luck !!!
