Unable to browse switch but can telnet to it, not sure whats causing this to happen

If you're using a proxy in your browser, try disabling it.

... or set the browser not to use the proxy for IP addresses pertaining to your switches. Also "web agent" or some equivalent option should be enabled.

exdcluded the local subnet from within the browser and I'm able to browse the web interface
