HP4000 (Switching off)

Hey all,

I have bought a UPS to provide power to an HP4000 switch, MITEL 3000 switch and a few other bits and pieces.

My question is, if I simply unplug the switch, will I need to reconfigure anything, or will it work as it did previously??

I cannot see any reason why the switch would not work the same after a powerdown.

I would back up the switch configuration before doing this via the telnet or web interface.

I may also update the switch firmware if it's going down anyway...
