Help setup multiple nic to increase bandwidth
Hi everyone need some pointers if poss.
I have a new server with multiple intel nics and i would like to team them (the software allows this) together to increas the amount of bandwidth to the server, we have a procurve 4208vl and i think i need to set up trunking, how do i do this?

if you make true nic teaming config on server
procurve switch can see this team config and change dynamically trunk state own ports

Have setup ALB on the server with 2 nics

what kind of bandwidth should i expect to get, the nics are gigabit, i still need to turn off STP on the switch ports, will do that Monday.
how can i test the nics for bandwidth etc?
