How can I emulate a IP phone?

Hi to everybody!
Well, I have a question for you guys.
I need make a simple connection in a Procurve and IP phone. But I only have the Procurve device available, I need to emulate the IP phone. I had read that IXIA have the function to emulate this devices, but, How can I emulate the med-device?
