Hp 5120 Poe power ratings

I need to know the maximum Power rating for this switch. to know how many devices I can use on it.  the spec sheet shows 740w but in the notes says 370w which is correct?

THis is the URL for the specs

Re: Hp 5120 Poe power ratings

I think 370W is for 24 port model and 740w is for 48 port.

Take a look in table with models specification - spec

Re: Hp 5120 Poe power ratings

Hi, regards to official HP networking IRIS configurator, 370W is maximum you can get from 24-port version even with RPS1600 redundant power supply. If you connect 48-port version with RPS1600 you can get 740W (370W internal + 370W RPS)... see attached screenshot. That seems logic to have about 15,4W per port (370/24 or 740/48) which is max. power provided from PSE to PD.

Think that the same (max power from switches power supply) is for PoE+ version switches, but in case of PoE+ the max power provided could be 25,5W per port/PD so there is no full power for every port.
