I can only connect sometimes

I have a hp omnibook XE3 and when using a high speed connection sometimes it works and then one day will stop. I have tried to remove the card from the device manager and reinstall but no help. can somebody help please.

Ian,

I don't know about the others, but I will need a little more input from you to be able to even try to assist.

How do you attempt to connect to the high-speed network? Wired? Wireless?

What else can you give us to understand the mechanics and/or hardware involved?
