IDM and Radius

Hi, We have an Aruba wireless network which is authenticated by Microsoft Radius Servers. I assumed that since the manuals for IDM say nothing about configuring the Radius servers other than to load the IDM Agent, that no further action was required. However, it doesn't work. Am I right in saying that HP assume that the network is already authenticating wired clients via Radius before IDM is installed?

Re: IDM and Radius

yes, you need your user/groups defined in AD, IAS-radius remote access policies defined, switch configs for 802.1X, wired client supplicants - all configured and working...then install IDM on top of PCM+, then install the IDM agent on IAS, then configure your IDM policies, then "deploy" those policies to the IDM agent(s)...

check out some of the technotes at this procurve site, they may help in the various parts of the "system" config...
