Interoperability with Cisco

The customer have Cisco 6950 Core switch. We have installed two HP Procurve 2824 switch with latest IOS to the system. We have connected critical servers to the 2824 switches. Users try to access to the servers but the connection very slow.
If we move the servers' connections to another Cisco edge swithced everything is normal.
I examined to 2824 switches and realized the too many RX Drop packed on uplink port between 2824 and Cisco 6950.
Is there any undocumented interoperability issue between Cisco and HP ?

you may want to try the usual suspects here: auto speed/duplex negotiation. You could use show commands to try and prove a mismatch.

Either way, I would try hard-setting the speed and duplex of interswitch links. Hard set at BOTH ends or you will run into problems.

Try enabling 'qos-passthrough-mode' on the 2800's.. that usually fixes any performance issues.
