Hi i have a J2610B HP Advancestack 10Base-T Hub-8u and i want to know if there are known probles about to use this hub with a negotiated speed of 10Mbit full duplex set in fixed mode with intel Pro100/s+ adapter and Intel Pro100/s desktop adapter.

Solution
If you fix your hub-side at 10fdx and leave your NIC-side at auto-negotiate, you're going to run into problems because the auto-negotiate side is going to fall back to 10hdx because your hub-side wasn't negotiating.
Unless your OS allows you to fix your NIC-side at 10fdx (Linux does), you won't be able to do what you want to do.

If a problem can be fixed, there's nothing to worry. If a problem can't be fixed, worrying ain't gonna help. Bottom line: don't worry.
