J4813A and IPv6

With IPv6 going live and some sites soon only to be only IPv6 how is HP adressing this? I have a 2524 and want to make sure I'm not going to need to purchase a new switch to support IPv6.

Since the 2524 is a L2 switch it will probably have no problem forwarding IPv6 packets, though I dont think it will get v6 management or any v6 security features (RA guard etc), its just too old.

Hi

Right, Frederik, not going to happen. This box is long out of development, so there will be no new features whatsoever.
