J9051A Wesm module not initializing in 5406ZL

Hi-
My new wesm module is not intializing in my 5406ZL. I have firmware K.14.65 on the switch and I cannot tell what the wesm software rev is because it never comes up.

Would this be due to firmware incompatibilities between switch and wesm?

what is your product number 5400 switch

We found out it was the software on the WESM. HP has a fix for it, but you have to call them to get the updated firmware. (WT.01.35) that is not posted on their site as of yet. The incompatibility is due to the WESM only recognizing chassis with a MAC address of 00xx.xxxx.xxxx. If there is anything other than the chassis's MAC address starting with "00", then the WESM will not work. The module status on the WESM will blink constantly and not be able to communicate with the chassis.

Is there any way to upgrade the module in this situation or ask a compact flash card with the newest software?
