Hi everyone. please do help me. My colleague accidentally formated the flash memory on this switch. I tried searching for answers online but the answers that I found could not help me.

Hello,
Which file was deleted from flash?
Hopefully nothing deleted from recycle-bin?
Has the device rebooted? If not then run below command then files will be resotred from recyceel-bun.

Hello. I think he formated the flash file. The only thing that is shown everytime I try to reboot is basically this:

I tried uploading A5500EI-CMW520-R2222P12 by xmodem because I could not use tftp because I could not get an ip. then it displayed this:
BOOT MENU
1. Download application file to flash
2. Select application file to boot
3. Display all files in flash
4. Delete file from flash
5. Modify bootrom password
6. Enter bootrom upgrade menu
7. Skip current configuration file
8. Set bootrom password recovery
9. Set switch startup mode
0. Reboot
Enter your choice(0-9):3

It seems software file is missing.
Select option 1 from the menu then select protocol to transfer the software file.

What are the options available if you select option 2 from the boot menu?
Do you know which software version was runiing before deleting?
I believe you are trying to upload A5500EI-CMW520-R2222P12.bin file. If TFTP is not working then transfer through XMODEM.

Thank you for your reply. Previously I tried uploading the file using XMODEM a few times but it failed. I tried using TFTP once before using XMODEM but it showed no respons. After failing using the XMODEM I tried using TFTP again. I failed on the first try but succeded on the second try.
