Hi everyone. please do help me. My colleague accidentally formated the flash memory on this switch. I tried searching for answers online but the answers that I found could not help me.

Re: JD375A No correct default file to boot!

Hello,

Which file was deleted from flash?

Hopefully nothing deleted from recycle-bin?

Has the device rebooted? If not then run below command then files will be resotred from recyceel-bun.

<HPE>undelete flash:/

Thanks!

Hello. I think he formated the flash file. The only thing that is shown everytime I try to reboot is basically this:

Re: JD375A No correct default file to boot!

Hi,

It seems software file is missing.

Select option 1 from the menu then select protocol to transfer the software file.

Thanks!

Re: JD375A No correct default file to boot!

Hi,

What are the options available if you select option 2 from the boot menu?

Do you know which software version was runiing before deleting?

I believe you are trying to upload A5500EI-CMW520-R2222P12.bin file.  If TFTP is not working then transfer through XMODEM.

Below is the link to download:

Thanks!

Re: JD375A No correct default file to boot!

Hi AKG7,

Thank you for your reply. Previously I tried uploading the file using XMODEM a few times but it failed. I tried using TFTP once before using XMODEM but it showed no respons. After failing using the XMODEM  I tried using TFTP again. I failed on the first try but succeded on the second try.

Thank you for helping out.
