LACP, VLANs and GVRP
I'm trying to set up teaming on a server connected to a ProCurve 2610 with LACP. I got the LACP working, and the trunk is dynamically created. The problem is, the server is not on the default VLAN, and I can't seem to get the dynamic trunk on anything else.
The manual says "A dynamic LACP trunk operates only in the default VLAN (unless you have enabled GVRP on the switch and use Forbid to prevent the ports from joining the default VLAN).
That seems to be where my trouble is. I have a static VLAN 20 I'm trying to get the LACP trunk to join. It's made up of port 24 and 26. I have GVRP set up, and those two ports are set to learn. Forbid 24,26 was run on VLAN 1, and I confirmed it shows up in the running config for the default VLAN, but the trunk keeps joining VLAN 1. How to I prevent it from joining the default VLAN?
