LLDP 2524
In my network, all my 2524 switches have issues when it comes to lldp. They can only see, and be seen, by other non 2524 devices. No 2524 can se each other. lldp is globaly enabled in all of them, and all are on sv# 5.65.
Thanks,
John

Re: LLDP 2524
I was under the impression lldp recieve and transmit both work if your software is above 5.60, so it does not seem to be the same issue here.
I have gotten a bit further since my first post, it seem only to affect tagged links, as untagged links works.
Is this a bug or a "feature" or just the way it is suppose to be?

So the 2500 can now use all features in LLDP? Do you know from which version this was implemented?

Re: LLDP 2524
It was fixed with Firmware version F.05.60
Enhancement (PR_1000376193) ├в The switch can now receive LLDP (Link Layer Discovery Protocol) packets from other devices on the network. In prior releases, only the
transmission of LLDP packets was supported. This change will allow more accurate switch
mapping in ProCurve Manager..
Kind Regards
