I have a procurve 2824 uplink'd to the internet over a 100Mbit fiber. Everything is fine as long as the equipment connected locally plays by the rules, one of those is 15 packets per second enforced by the ARP inspection in the Cisco switch upstream. But since I write this, you can guess they sometimes don't, which triggers a Err-disable for 5 mins, and boom, there goes internet and IPTV for 5 mins. What makes it worse is that usually when this happens, when link goes up again some things ARP floods the uplink even more, bringing the link down again.
Is there any way to match the 15 pps rule locally?
