Hello, does anybody knows what this error mean:

Since I activate this functionnality, I can see that in Log....

00888 loop-protect: port A3 - received packet failed authentication

888 Port - received
packet failed authentication.
info Loop protection packets on the port are not being processed
because they are not authentic. This can happen if a malicious user
is trying to spoof loop protection packets.

Yes I've read about this, but on the specified port there is a switch (Procurve 5412zl the same).

loop protech
not applicable on the uplink port

loop protech applied only user port on the switch

Ok but I can't see that we only use Loop protection on edge port.

It is written, to use loop protect on all ports

Loop protection should be activated on all ports.

but for unmanagement switch connection
