Lost Cisco Connectivity after firmware upgrade on HP5308XL

I upgraded the firmware of my 5308XL from 07.40 to 08.03, and the connectivity on my Cisco 3500XL stopped working. I have STP set up with redundant fibre cables.
Help!!
