Re: MSTP on a 2824
On the 2824 it is working fine now.
But on the 2610 there i don't find the commmand protocol-version
Even when i do ? after span command it isn't in the list.
And the version is R_11_07?
There is an other command 'force-version' is that an option??

Re: MSTP on a 2824
In the file, you will find the help command after spanning tree command.
There he don't give the command Protocol-version.
Is that a software porblem??
Thx for the manual thats already a big help.

Re: MSTP on a 2824
please test:
you make ago enable stp on switch
after enable protocol version command on switch
(config)#spanning-tree (enter)
(config)#spanning-tree-protocol-version mstp
cenk******
please read:
Syntax: spanning-tree-protocol-version mstp
Changes the current spanning-tree protocol on the switch to 802.1s Multiple Spanning Tree. Must be followed by write mem and reboot to activate the change. After rebooting, the switch is ready to operate as an MSTP bridge. Note that this command does not enable spanning-tree operation.
To activate the configured spanning-tree operation on the switch, execute spanning-tree.
