Hello Dears,

I need help with mini gbics, i bought a mini-gbic HP JD493A but i received one 3Com 3CSFP91, the question is this produts are same?

Have a difference technique??

Hello,

Don't worry, the 3CSFP91 is the exact same product as JD493A, the first part number is just the original 3Com Part Number and the second the newer HP Part Number.

Enter either of the numbers into the support & lookup tool and you'll notice they list the same product too:

Hi,

If both SFP's are the same, why does the 3CSFP91 works fine in a HP procurve 1810 and not in a HP procurve 2530 ?

Is there a possibility to get my existing 3CSFP91 SPF's to work in our new HP 2530 procurve switches ?
