Mirror traffic to more than one port
Due to a slightly bizarre set up, we need the ability to mirror (monitor) all traffic from our 5308xl switch to more than one port - e.g. have all the switch traffic appearing not just out of port A1, but A2 and maybe A3 as well.
The easiest way to do this, I'd thought, would be to simply cross-cable the monitoring port to a hub - but it seems we can't buy a simple, non-switching hub anywhere these days.
Am I being daft: is there an easy way to mirror traffic from all ports through more than one physical port on the switch?

Re: Mirror traffic to more than one port
You can do this on the 8200/5400/3500 series (up to 4 mirror ports), but not on the 5300 unfortunately.
The hub would usually be the way to go in this situation, maybe try ebay.

Re: Mirror traffic to more than one port
there are two things you can do:
1.use sflow feature on the switch and sflow analyzer like plixer scrutinizer. In this case you won't be able to monitor all data inside of IP packet just header.
2.go to http://www.datacomsystems.com/ for link aggregator or matrix switch or network tap.
