Re: NIC teaming question TLB - SWL

hi again

I was doing more research and I found this
"Switch assisted Dual Channel Load Balancing"

but it only supported for very old NCU version and it's basically retired

what do I do now If I load balancing Rx/Tx with 2 switches

any idea it's appreciated

Re: NIC teaming question TLB - SWL

Dual channel teams are no longer supported since last INP Version, NCU 8.80

But I have some ideas:

- Using stacking capable switches will work

- There is a team mode called Channel-Based TLB, a 4 portchannel will get 4GB tx and 2GB rx, using 1 etherchannel going to each switch.

Channel based is not very well mode of team, it works only with LACP and auto teaming mode

Basically using this team you will get 1 etherchannel tx/rx and the other one rx only, thats the difference with SLB DualChannel.
