I have a HP J3202A with no manuals and no information. It was previously configured in a network, but I have no idea what the IP address was. My experience and knowledge with this equipment is limited and the human resources available to me are limited as well. I need to know how to determine what the IP address was on this unit so that I can change it to work in my network...OR how to reset the unit to factory default and configure it as a new unit into my network. Can anyone assist me??
Thanks,
Mandy

Solution
Those switches have a segment display button. If it is pressed for more than 8 seconds the pasword is cleared.

Re: Need assistance with a HP J3202A Switching Hub
Since my unit does not have the module with the reset button, does that mean that it is not able to be configured? How do I determine if it has an IP address? Must I purchase this module?

Re: Need assistance with a HP J3202A Switching Hub
Hi Mandy,
You need the J3210A Management Module to configure the switch and since you state that you have none there can be no IP on the switch.
