We need help connecting to our new Procurv 2910 we just bought. What program do you use to connect to the console and what settings do you use?
Please advise and thanks.

Re: Need help on connecting Procurve 2910
Use the included serial cable and use something like TeraTerm, PuTTY or Hyperterminal as your terminal software. The 2910 should have baud autosensing so you could pretty much just connect and tap twice on your Enter key for the auto sense.

SolutionPersonally I prefer TeraTerm (http://en.sourceforge.jp/projects/ttssh2/releases/) when dealing with console connections. Try either that or PuTTY (http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/download.html)

Re: Need help on connecting Procurve 2910
I show both putty and tera term connect, but just a black screen.
Any thoughts?
