I was going to purchase an equivalent to my HP ProCurve Switch 2610-24/12PWR (J9086A), but I see there are not listed. What would be an equivalent in the new models? Is it the 2620 line?

SolutionHi,
yes, 2620 series switches are the replacement of older 2610 switches. There you can find official End of Sale announcement and recommended replacement products:
http://h17007.www1.hp.com/docs/products/eos/E2610_ES_Announcement.pdf
I'm not sure, why there is no mention about J9086A (maybe it is still available), but for this partial PoE switch the equivalent is HP E2620-24-PPoE+ Switch (J9624A).
BR,
Jan
