New VLAN not working
I got a current setup with 6 VLAN's all working fine. I did add another VLAN 7 and and configure 2 ports for that VLAN, plug in 2 laptops and assign static ip address on these 2 laptops. It seems like there is no connectivity as echo messages send doesn't get a reply. May be there is something else I should configure on this VLAN. Anyway, I'm doing this from a 4204vl layer 3 switch. I did want to isolate this VLAN so I didn't add in an IP address. Attach herewith is my configuration and any help would really be appreciated

Re: New VLAN not working
Hi Usaia
Mmmm assuming they are in Ports A23 and A24. The laptops traffic should be able to reach each other and go up the two trunk Tk2 and Trk3.
I have a suspicion not 100% sure. Did you try to turn of the host based firewall on the two systems. A lot fo host based firewalls denies ICMP echo replys.
